My Sins Are Various

Sarah Wilson

A highly skilled and versatile artist, Sarah’s pieces feature fine line figurative works, printing, enamelling, jewellery and metal work.

Their work has been shown at Pullens Yards Open Studios, Bainbridge Print Studios,  Morley Gallery, (group show) Green and Stone Gallery Summer Exhibition (Fulham and Chelsea) and regular group shows  with the British Society of Enamellers.

They were trained in silversmithing and jewellery – -which included engraving, printing and design (Sir John Cass/London Metropolitan University). Followed by an apprenticeship in enamelling.

Sarah is a Visiting Tutor in enamelling at Morley College.

Their fine art is largely figurative & representational, whilst including elements of abstract art.  Its focus is on tiny detail, ‘Small things that catch my eye.’

They are neurodiverse, with ‘busy brains and twitchy fingers,’ all of which makes for a delicate sensibility: that glimpse of ‘the detail that draws you in’ in their outward gaze.

There is a strong local connection as Sarah works at Roots and Shoots, where they are in charge of propagating. They also help out at Community Lunches here.
